PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPY

WHAT IS THE PELVIC FLOOR?

The pelvic floor consists of three major layers of muscles and sits at the bottom of our pelvis.  All men, women, non-binary, and children have pelvic floors.

The purpose of the pelvic floor is to let things out or keep them in (pee, poop, gas, etc) and to provide support to our organs.

Working along side with the rest of our body the pelvic floor muscle group provides basic control of our daily functions and also plays a major role in our trunk or core stabilization.
